living out the lyrics to their 1982 pop classic Sweet Dreams, Graham
Russell and Russell Hitchcockprincipals in the famed 80s hitmaking duo
Air Supplycelebrated their 30 year partnership in 2005 with a couple of
exciting firsts. Earlier in the year, they released It Was 30 Years Ago
Today, their first live DVD Recording, to great acclaim. They are currently
capping that off with The Singer and The Song, Air Supplys very first
all-acoustic project.
Russell and Hitchcock originally made the
exclusive recording available only to Airheads, their affectionate term
for their legions of fans worldwide. Now, its available to the general
public via their website www.airsupplymusic.com. The Singer and The Song
features the duos familiar cavalcade of hits (including All Out of Love,
Lost In Love The One That You Love and Making Love Out Of Nothing At
All) done as vocal-guitar duets, recorded in one take each with no overdubs.
The collection also features Yours Truly,
their popular crowd-pleasing song from their 2000 album of the same name,
and Love and Other Bruises, Air Supplys first big Australian hit from
