Contact Music reports: 50 CENT wants to buy
Interscope Records - because he claims he generates most of the labels
income.
He tells Maxim magazine, "I'd really like
to be able to afford Interscope Records. I'm making 70 per cent of the
black music at Interscope, and I'm growing.
"If I keep the pace I'm at now for the
next three years, eventually I'll own it...[ Only 40 million or so more
CD in the U.S. to sell to catch up to U2.... tic toc.. how many minutes
has it been yet? At least we will be able to see him in the 2008 version
of The Surreal Life.. if he isn't shot another dozen times before then...

the dates for THE FEST 4 are going to be November 18th, 19th, & 20th,
2005. Once again it will be held in the city that loves to host a party,
Gainesville FL. It will again be a multiple venue festival, and we are
adding lots more this year. First off, we have over 100 bands booked so

Press Release reports: Heavy metal icons Judas
Priest will release the new live DVD 'Rising In the East' on November 15,
2005, via Rhino Home Video.
"The DVD is a full two-hour display of
highlights from Priest's career over the last three decades," Halford says.
"We take you on a metal journey from 'Sad Wings Of Destiny' right up to
'Angel Of Retribution.' Between those two points in time, 'Rising In The

Hard Soul Records reports: The Capes debut
full-length album HELLO entered the CMJ Top 200 at number 46 the second
highest entry for the week beginning October 24th 2005. The week previous
HELLO was the 3rd highest add to College and Specialty radio.
This achievement comes off the back of
a successful radio campaign for the bands first US release, the 6-track
EP TASTE, which stayed in the CMJ Top 200 for 12 weeks, peaking at number
62, and received spins on KCRW, KEXP, and Indie 103.1 to name a few.
The band also recently completed their
first round trip of the US, encompassing 30 dates in as many days and performing
at the CMJ Marathon in NYC and the North West Music Fest in Portland. Not
only that but they achieved the accolade of having a sandwich named after

Press Release reports: Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels,
known to most of the world as the leading pioneer of hip hop and one of

release his first ever solo album Checks Thugs and Rock n Roll this January

the subject of a new VH1 documentary.
