Fan Sues Snoop
Gigwise reports: Snoop Dogg and The Game are being sued for $20 million by a fan who claims he was beaten up after being invited onto the stage at one of their concerts.

Richard Monroe alleges he was beaten and robbed after he went to place his arms round Snoop “in a friendly manner” after joining the legendary rapper for his performance of hit song Gin & Juice.

Monroe says he was set upon by bodyguards, with the rappers – including Kurupt, Daz Dillinger and Soopafly – joining in, as he was robbed of his wallet, rings and mobile phone.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

D12 Arrest
Gigwise reports: D-12 rapper Swift has been jailed for 93 days after missing a court appearance to attend the funeral of his bandmate Proof.

Prince Drug Bust
Contact Music reports: One of PRINCE's back-up dancers has been arrested on suspicion of trying to smuggle 20 kilograms (44 pounds) of cocaine aboard a flight out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Melvins Kranky One Off
CMJ reports: Post-metal makers the Melvins and the experimental guitarist Keiji Haino will perform live soundtracks for underground American filmmaker Cameron Jamie's films at the 2006 Whitney Biennial. Roth Vs CBS
Metal Sludge reports: Rocker-turned-radio host David Lee Roth, who accepted the no-win task of replacing ratings king Howard Stern in January, was bounced from the airwaves Friday after barely three months on the air in New York, Philadelphia, Boston and four other markets. 

"I was booted, tossed, and it's going to cost somebody," Roth said on his last show, intimating that his lawyers would go after CBS Radio for the full compensation due from his reported $4 million contract. Dark Side of the Globe
antiMusic reports: Roger Waters is coming to America. The former Floydster will hit North American shores for a string of shows beginning on September 6th. His touring band will include Andy Fairweather Low and Snowy White on guitar, drummer Graham Broad and Waters' son Harry on Hammond organ, according to Billboard.

Fans are in for a special treat as Waters plans to perform 'Dark Side Of The Moon' in it's entirety for the North American stops. Waters will also spend the summer in other parts of the world including a stop at the Rock in Rio festival and a swing through Europe and the controversial show in Israel. George Lynch Hospitalized
KNAC reports: Guitarist George Lynch was reportedly hospitalized after a performance at the Empire Room in Las Vegas last night.
