Onstage Orgy
antiMusic reports: Hinder's stop in Ft. Wayne, Indiana turned into an onstage orgy on Thursday night (Feb 9), a source close to the Hinder camp tells us. Better yet, Girls Gone Wild supposedly captured the entire action on video.

The source tells antiMusic the following: "It started off with a thong contest after the set. .girls on shoulders making out, then a Girls Gone Wild wet t-shirt contest begin…30 girls on stage…the judges were pouring water on the girls.. There was a small pool on the stage, with 15 girls in there making out...turned into a full on orgy… in front of 1,800 people.. Apparently the band took part too.. sick! GGW taped it all so they say".

Hinder is currently headlining the Girls Gone Wild tour in support of their Universal Records release "Extreme Behavior". [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Van Halen Reality TV
TMZ reports: Sources tell TMZ Van Halen is in the market for a new lead singer, and the marketplace will be the upcoming reality show 'Rock Star: The Series.'

Last October, Van Halen reps vehemently denied the band would use 'Rock Star' in a talent search for a new lead singer. The reps are now singing a different tune. Van Halen publicist Larry Solters told TMZ: "I'm not denying it. I'm not going to answer any questions about it."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

GNR CD Soon?
Day in Rock reports: We've heard rumblings that a major announcement will soon be coming out of the Guns N' Roses camp sometime in the coming weeks. Could it finally be the release of the long overdue "Chinese Democracy"? Or perhaps a regrouping of the classic lineup for the Download Festival? You never know with GNR and guessing has proven fruitless in the past but it appears that the album may be complete. The New York Post's PageSix reports that Axl and an entourage descended on the Chelsea hotspot STEREO last week as the club was closing it doors but Axl persuaded the owners to keep the club open for them by offering an exclusive impromptu listening party of the new CD. GNR will always keep us guessing as that's Axl's nature but things tend to indicate that 2006 may just be the year for Chinese Democracy. See the full story link for the PageSix story. MTV reports: Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Samuel L. Jackson will soon have more in common than just a last name, as they're both up for roles in "Home of the Brave," a wartime drama set against the backdrop of the war in Iraq.

Written by first-time screenwriter Mark Friedman and directed by "Life as a House" helmer Irwin Winkler, the flick will follow three soldiers who return home from the conflict and find the readjustment difficult.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Prince Wonka
hecklerspray reports: Prince fans, get ready to not download his next album. For the record, we don't mean the Prince of Darkness, Prince of Lies, or Prince Valiant: we mean the skinny waif of an eighties pop icon with a purple penchant.

The artist formerly known as a symbol implying lack of specific gender - that's Prince to you - has an album coming out very soon. On March 21st, 2006 he's releasing 3121, and each album purchased could contain a purple ticket that would allow you through the doors of Prince's Minneapolis mansion.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Sabbath Hits
CMJ reports: On March 14, the day after Black Sabbath enter the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, Rhino will release a comp chronicling eight years from the headbanging Brummies' career, fittingly titled Greatest Hits 1970-1978. Of the 17 other BS comps we counted, including Rhino's 2002 double-disc Symptom Of The Universe (that covered the exact same period), this one is truly among the best of the Best Ofs. But since revisionist history has all but deleted the Dio years, make sure you download "Heaven And Hell" as well.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
