More GNR Leaks
antiMusic reports: The good ship Guns N' Roses is leaking like crazy. Two more songs have surfaced online following two leaks last week. One of the new leaked tracks is a studio quality demo of the song "Twat" and the other leak is what appears to be a demo studio mix of the song "The Blues". The rumor mill is also churning at full speed with speculation that the tracks "Prostitute" and "The General" will soon be leaked as well.

The Axl Rose led Guns N' Roses performed "The Blues" during their 2001 New Year's Eve concert in Las Vegas as well as on their 2002 tour. While the GNR leaks have been big news in the underground and among the Gunner faithful, the mainstream media by-in-large have ignored the story. This has opened the doors to some interesting conspiracy theories. [see full story for those]- Click Here for the Full Story

The unnamed fans were shocked by recent unconfirmed claims from a retired soldier that he enjoyed a gay romp with the singer in a hotel room. In the absence of a firm denial from Aiken, the upset devotees are deliberating filing a class-action lawsuit and a possible Fair Trade Commission complaint [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Doherty a Hoax or A Doherty Hoax?
hecklerspray reports: The Internet, famously, is full of a lot of bollocks. But every now and again we hear something that we want to be true so much that it hurts. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. You be the judge. According to an email we got, Pete Doherty is a giant hoax created by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty of KLF/ burning a million quid/ firing blanks at Brits audiences/ leaving dead sheep lying around fame. Evidence? You want evidence? [see the full story link, this one is rich! Inspired by Weezer no doubt]- Click Here for the Full Story

Rollins' Jihad
punkbands reports: Henry Rollins ran into trouble while flying from Auckland, Australia during the Big Day Out Tour. Apparently, the former hardcore vocalist and author made the mistake of reading Jihad: The Rise of Militant Island in Central Asia while on the flight.

The individual who sat next to Henry had reported him to the government because of the book; while the letter he recieved from the government dismissed the accussation as "idiocy," Henry responded: "I was reading a book called Jihad by Ahmed Rashid which is a history of Central Asia. I didn't speak to the man next to me past how do you do. I think Ahmed Rashid is published by Yale University Press. Bush's alma mater. Please tell your government and everyone in your office to go fuck themselves. Tell them twice. If your boss is looking for something to do, you can tell him I suggest he go fuck himself. Baghdad's safer than my hometown and your PM is a sissy." [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Station Fire Update
Blabbermouth reports: According to the Associated Press, prosecutors say the former tour manager of GREAT WHITE, who ignited a deadly fire at a West Warwick nightclub almost three years ago, will testify against the club's owners. Daniel Biechele (BEEK'-lee) pleaded guilty this month to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter and will serve less than 10 years in prison.

When Biechele pleaded guilty, he told a judge that one of the club's owners, Michael Derderian, gave him permission to use pyrotechnics inside the building. Derderian's lawyer denies that allegation. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Cult Vs Foos
Blabbermouth reports: THE CULT frontman Ian Astbury was recently asked by a fan on the band's official message board if it's true that while recording their last studio album, 2001's "Beyond Good and Evil", they titled one of the demos "Bring Me the Head of Dave Grohl". "Yes, [it's] true," Astbury replied. "It all started with comments that [Dave] Grohl [ex-NIRVANA drummer and current FOO FIGHTERS frontman] had made about coming to see THE CULT on a dare that appeared in Alternative Press. He went on to say that 'overproduced' music like that made him want to shoot himself." RIAA Redefine Fair Use
Inquirer reports: Remember when the RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) was arguing in front of the US Supreme Court in the Grokster case, and it said that ripping a CD that you lawfully own to your MP3 player was "perfectly lawful"? Well, now it isn't.

The RIAA is now arguing that it is illegal, and wants to get it legally shut down. No, really, something as trivial as sworn statements to the Supreme Court should be simply taken in jest, right? [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
