. (Fanscape) Geffen Recording artist The Pink Spiders release their debut single "Little Razorblade," from their first major label release Teenage Graffiti, due out in spring of 2006. Hailing from Nashville, The Pink Spiders was born in the summer of 2003. The band draws inspiration from the dance scene, soul music, and 70's punk rock to form their unique and unmistakably catchy sound. The Pink Spiders' self-produced and distributed EP, The Pink Spiders Are Taking Over!, was released January 2004 and received critical acclaim. The EP caught the attention of CI Records who sent the band into the studio to record their debut full length Hot Pink, which hit stores in January 2005, with a sound reminiscent of Elvis Costello, The Clash, The Beach Boys, and the Who. Three months later, The Pink Spiders signed with Geffen Records, and headed back to the studio to record their second full length album, Teenage Graffiti, set for release in spring of 2006, which features the undeniably poppy debut single "Little Razorblade."
