Staff Meeting: Keavin Wiggins
05/05/06

(antiMusic) A lot of people work hard to make antiMusic what it is. So with our 8th anniversary we felt it was time to spotlight each writer so you can get to know them a little better. Over the next few weeks we will be posting a small portion of each staff person's new profile page. So let's begin and get to know Keavin Wiggins a little better.

Keavin is from Orange County, Ca and founded antiMusic. The first album he purchased was 'Pyromania' by Def Leppard and he says of his first concert "It's kind of a blur. I believe it was Judas Priest but it could have been KISS or Def Leppard opening for another band.". He lists Beatles, AC/DC, Ozzy (through Bark), Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Enuff Z'nuff, Angie Aparo, (Cliff era) Metallica, KISS and Soul Asylum as his Top 10 Favorite artist. His musical pet peeve is "Classic songs in TV adverts. Someone should fire the ad men for this because it is a sin on so many levels. But alas the boomers are nostalgic consumers and this must reach the sell outs when a classic song comes on the radio in their SUVs, it reminds them to stop at Target to pick up the latest useless gadget or 'must have' fad product." His favorite parts of antiMusic are "The reviews. Say what ever you want about us, but we have some of the best critics in the business! (Probably because they do it for the love the music.) Also the unprintable stuff Dolly sends over."
