Beach Boys Reunion: Live Pet Sounds
EARVOLUTION reports: Perhaps sensing a bit of Beach Boys Mania in the air (or more likely in conjunction with album's 40th anniversary), Brian Wilson will be playing a series of six shows (5 in the U.S./1 in London) featuring performances of Pet Sounds in its entirety. For the four East Coast shows, Wilson will be joined by former Beach Boy Al Jardine, making these their first appearances together in decades. Mike Love, the only other surviving original member of The Beach Boys, will likely sit home and fume (or lie in bed listening to a certain Bare Naked Ladies song).[see full story for dates]- Click Here for the Full Story

Hank Williams Jr. Assault
AP reports: A grand jury will decide whether country singer Hank Williams Jr. will stand trial on misdemeanor assault charges filed after a cocktail waitress said he yelled obscenities and choked her at a local hotel.

Sugarcubes Reunion
Gigwise reports: After fourteen years flying solo Bjork is to reunite this autumn with her former band The Sugarcubes.

Bunnymen Toilet Beating Verdict
Gigwise reports: Echo And The Bunnymen front man Ian McCulloch has been cleared of assaulting a fan backstage at Glasgow's Barrowlands.

However, he was convicted of a breach of the peace over the incident which took place after a Bunnymen gig in October last year.

Motley Cruise
blabbermouth.net reports: MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil will call the Carnival Cruise Lines "Fun Ship" Fascination his Home Sweet Home in January 2007. The four-day, three-night rock and roll cruise sets sail on Friday, January 12 from Miami, Florida, to Nassau, The Bahamas, and returns to Miami on Monday, January 15.

Twisted Christmas
blabbermouth.net reports: TWISTED SISTER's version of "White Christmas" (written by Irving Berlin and famously performed by Bing Crosby) has been posted online at the band's official MySpace page. Also available at the same location is the group's rendition of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (written by Thomas Connor; first recorded by Jimmy Boyd in 1952). Zooey Joplin
pr-inside reports: ELF actress ZOOEY DESCHANEL has replaced singer PINK as JANIS JOPLIN in the biopic GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JANIS.

The STUPID GIRLS singer pulled out of the PENELOPE SPHEERIS film earlier this year (06) and, after much speculation, Deschanel was eventually selected to take over the role.

Aerosmith Hog
pr-inside reports: AEROSMITH frontman STEVEN TYLER has designed his first Harley Davidson motorbike. The rocker took time away from the group earlier this year (MAR06) to undergo throat surgery, but he kept busy during his recovery and came up with a new custom-made bike creation.

The Steven Tyler Signature Series includes 10 limited-edition custom motorcycles, priced at $80,000 (£44,400) each, according to America's Life & Style magazine. Yahoo reports: Texas rock trio ZZ Top has parted ways with the manager who helped form the band in 1969, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

Gigwise reports: The new Jet album 'Shine On' was leaked accidentally on iTunes over the weekend. 

In the massive clanger, the Apple run company is thought to have failed to put the setting on 'Pre-Order' mode in the UK.

Dimebag Dedication
KNAC reports: During their performance as part of the Hard Rock Cafe's 35th Anniversary Celebration in Times Square (New York City) last night (September 18th), Motley Crue were joined on stage by Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who performed the group's version of the Beatles' classic 'Helter Skelter' with them.
