Live Earth's Secret Agenda?

(Contact Music) Former US Vice President AL GORE has hit back at BOB GELDOF's criticisms of his forthcoming Live 8 concerts, insisting the super gigs will be a "wake-up call for the world". Gore's Live Earth gigs followed Geldof's Live Aid and Live 8 concerts in 1985 and 2005 respectively, which [supposedly were aimed at somehow raising] awareness of poverty in developing countries.

The Live Earth gigs, which will take place in cities across all the continents, aim to spread the word of the damage global warming is doing to the planet. Geldof questioned the need for the gigs recently, saying, "Why is (Gore) actually organising them? To make us aware of the greenhouse effect? Everybody's known about that problem for years. We are all f**king conscious of global warming."

In response, Gore replies, "We will have very specific goals that will be very significant and hard-hitting. We will announce those before the concert then empathise them heavily during the concert.
