However, many of the articles printed over the last few months have ended up painting a picture of me that is more than a little distorted. Therefore, I would like to add my comments and try to explain again my reasons for calling it a day.

Queen's Brian May Remembers Freddie Mercury |
For Queen guitarist Brian May, this year is one of particular reflection on his late singer, the great Freddie Mercury. With Island re-releasing all the band's albums in deluxe formats to mark the band's 40th anniversary and a new biopic in production, featuring Borat's Sacha Baron Cohen as the legendary frontman, the 63-year-old guitarist knows that this is hardly the time to sidestep the group's musical legacy.
"When Freddie died, it was like losing a family member, and we all handled it in different ways," May told the Telegraph. "For a time, I really wanted to escape from Queen; I didn't want to know about it. I think that was my grieving process. But I'm very proud of what we did together. My God, we really did go on some interesting excursions! Mostly, it makes me feel good."

Singled Out: Evans Blue's Say It |
"Say It" is a song about having someone in your life who feeds you false hope and trusting someone who seems to have good intentions, only to find out there's a hidden agenda. It's about taking back the reins and regaining control of your life. "I was the animal"...I pulled you along, and I want you to know how that feels.
I think this is a theme that we can all relate to on many levels, as you can see in the "Say It" video created by the fans. There is empowerment in taking your life back from anyone who tries to control you, and the people in the video embrace this fearlessness. We are so lucky to have such amazing fans, and any time we can make them shine...we will!
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song and the video check it out for yourself

Evile Announce Festival Appearances |
Evile were also among the latest bands to be recently announced for the UK's Download festival, as well as Masters of Rock in the Czech Republic.
Bassist Joel Graham comments: "It's awesome to be added to the High Voltage festival - for the name Evile to be on the same poster that contains the such legendary names of Judas Priest, Jethro Tull, Dream Theater and Queensryche is an absolute mind f**k... It's amazing. More than a couple of us in Evile are prog fans so I'm sure we'll be hanging around the Prog Stage a lot. For me personally, I became a huge Jethro Tull fan after doing a deal with my father; he agreed to take me to see Anthrax when I was about 11, if in return he could take me to see Tull around the same time, so he got me hooked. Ol (Drake) also has a very uncanny likeness to a young Ian Anderson, so I'm hoping they bump into each other over the weekend."

Brian came down to play on the record and he shows up at the studio wearing running shorts, socks and sneakers, with two huge bags. So he puts the bags down and says, 'I'm going to change my clothes,' then comes back in these, like, MC Hammer pants, plays the lead, hangs out and then has to split.
"An hour later, he called and said, 'You guys, I left one of my bags in the room, just leave it in there, I'll come back and get it.' So I was like, OK, and hung up the phone and looked in there. And there they were."
