The Los Angeles porn industry is at a standstill after veteran porn star Darren James was confirmed as HIV-positive and since them one of the actresses he worked with has also tested positive. As a precautionary measure most the Southern California porn industry has halted production of new films for at least 60 days while more testing can be performed on other stars that had sex with the infected actors or second and third generation in the line; individuals that had sex with those that had previously had sex with the infected actors.

The Adult Industry Medical Heath Care Foundation announced earlier this week that James had been tested HIV-positive. It was determined that he had sex with 12 women during the period he was believed to be infected. Since that announcement, at least one of those actresses has tested positive, adult film newcomer Lara Roxx.

Roxx has only performing in adult films for 3 months. She performed with James on March 24th along with Mark Anthony, Maxxx Black

James was reportedly diligent in getting tested for the virus every three weeks. He has worked with 12 actresses since it was believed he was infected, those actresses have had sex with dozens more, carrying a domino effect of possible infection. The Adult Industry Medical Heath Care Foundation has identified 45 actors and actresses that may have been infected.

The other actresses that had sex with James since his suspected infection date are as follows: Candy Ray, Deserie Clark, Miss Arroyo, Kayla Marie, Jessica Dee, Patrice Petite, Persia, Banesca, Jocelyn, Annie Cruz, Skylar Banks, and Dynasty.
