Pixies Release 'Best of' and DVD

The Pixies are indeed back. Not only will
fans be able to see The Pixies return to the stage this year, they can
also get their hands on a new DVD and career retrospective album.
The album, Wave Of Mutilation - Best Of
Pixies will be in stores on Tuesday (May 4) and features 23 tracks spanning
the groups career, including album cuts and b-sides.

The ultimate Pixies junkies can get their
fix with the new DVD that was released last month. Here is the basic information
about the DVD according to the bands official website.
The DVD is over two and a half hours of
archive action. There are four programs in total, which are -
LIVE this is the complete Pixies set
filmed in 1988 when the band supported Throwing Muses at London's Town
And Country Club. It has a choice of a stereo or 5.1 soundtrack.
