Chevelle Announce Tour

.
(Epic) Just weeks after their triumphant run as headliners of this year's Winterfresh SnoCore Tour, Epic recording artists CHEVELLE are returning to the road. The trio is launching a new tour that begins April 8th at Jillian's in Louisville, KY.

The brothers Loeffler (vocalist/guitarist Pete, drummer Sam and bassist Joe) are touring in support of acclaimed new album THIS TYPE OF THINKING (COULD DO US IN), the follow-up to 2002's platinum-plus-selling chartbuster, Wonder What's Next. The Chicago-based band is picking up where it left off, debuting on Billboard's Top 200 at #8, scoring a number one hit in lead single "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" and going gold in just six weeks. In addition, they've appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and CNN. New single "The Clincher," which is already a fan favorite thanks to its inclusion on EA Sports' top-selling video game Madden NFL 2005, is maintaining momentum with heavy airplay on radio, MTV2 and Fuse. The track currently stands tall at #4 on Billboard's Active Rock Chart and Top 15 at Modern Rock.

This past week, Epic released a special DualDisc version of THIS TYPE OF THINKING (COULD DO US IN), complete with enhanced sound, a 25-minute behind-the-scenes documentary and a newly recorded version of "The Clincher" entitled "The Clincher (Version 103)."
