This marks the latest round of musical chairs in the modern rock world. Puddle of Mudd's Greg Upchurch was called in to replace Adair in 3 Doors Down.
"We are thrilled to have Daniel in the band and excited about the creativity that is going on between the four of us in the studio." Said Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger in a statement.
Adair, a Vancouver, BC native added. "I am so happy to be in such a great band with great guys from my hometown," he says "We've known each other for years and it just seems natural that we're playing together now. I'm looking forward to an exciting future and the release of a fantastic album."
Now with a full roster, Nickelback are heading into the studio to record the follow-up to their multi-platinum album, "The Long Road". The band's record company says that fans can expect to hear new music from the group this summer.
