(Press Release) Swedish metal band SONIC SYNDICATE recently announced the replacement of now former drummer Kristoffer Bδcklund, announces guitarist and songwriter Roger Sjunnesson, "It's my sad news to report that SONIC SYNDICATE will be parting ways with our drummer and brother Kristoffer Bδcklund. This decision was very hard to make, ultimately came about due to lack of enthusiasm and motivation on his side. We came to the conclusion that if we were to continue Sonic Syndicate as a professional band, we had to let him go. The band and Kristoffer are still the best of friends, and the former drummer will always be a huge part of SONIC SYNDICATE΄s spirit. Kristoffer would like to thank all the fans for a "motherfuckin' great time" and he wishes the band the best of luck in the future. The new drummer is no one less than John "Runken" Bengtsson (DΨDZ). He is an old schoolmate of ours and one of the best musicians we have worked with, and his playing so far has been beyond our expectations. We all want to give him a warm welcome and hope he will enjoy playing in Sonic Syndicate."SONIC SYNDICATE has also confirmed an additional off-date gigs from the Sweden United Tour with AVATAR and INEVITABLE END.
