Since then, you could say, Mike and I have been kicking out the jams for the UNsigned artists...and on Saturday April 15th 11am-1pm (pst), we'll be celebrating the second anniversary, with a very special, "TEE-M's UNsigned Music Show, Thanks The Beatles" Thirteen artists each singing a Beatle tune acoustically, with an All-Star UNsigned finale of "IN MY LIFE" (the song that I was so honored to sing at John Lennon's 25th Memorial at Capitol Records) I have asked the artists, to keep their song a secret, until they step up to the mic and start singing.
Beatles collectively and individually were very instrumental in kicking me to pick up the guitar, write and sing, back when I was growing up in Karachi, Pakistan. I never thought that I'd be co-hosting a radio show in America, not just a show but about the UNsigned artists...wow!! Hence a big thanks to John, Paul, George and Ringo!
To celebrate this special moment, Black Sabbath's drummer and Hall of Famer, Bill Ward (yes! he's a big Beatle fan too) will be coming out to the studios to sing one of his favorite Beatle tune and hang with the UNsigned artists.
So everybody around the planet please log on to www.wpmd.org Sat. Apr. 15th, LIVE 11am-1pm (pacific standard time) This show replays 3 times daily on the alternative stream www.wpmd.org/unsigned at 7am, 3pm and 11pm (pst)
