(PR) Taking a well-deserved place alongside the artists who most defined the music of 2006, Virgin Records singer-songwriter KT TUNSTALL will be among the announcers of the 49th Annual Grammy Awards nominations. The nomination announcements will take place in Los Angeles on Dec. 7, 2006. Among Tunstalls scheduled fellow announcers are Mary J. Blige, James Blunt, Rascal Flatts, and Justin Timberlake. Winners will be awarded at Grammy ceremonies at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 11, 2007, to be televised on CBS. With album sales and public demand driven by continuing radio and television exposure of her album, Tunstall will also be touring the U.S. in early December (see dates below.) Tunstalls EYE TO THE TELESCOPE album has sold over 1 million copies in the U.S, and is certified quintuple-platinum in Tunstalls native U.K. Worldwide sales have exceeded 3.5 million copies.
