First, Luke recently finished work on an upcoming volume of THE SEVEN INCH PROJECT, which will be released in limited availability under the name "Brain"the title of Luke's new touring band who joined him on the road with The Good Life. One new song, "They're Gonna Land", can be found on Luke's MySpace page.
According to the Seven Inch Project, it's "a vinyl record label that releases Limited Edition Collectible 7-inch (45-rpm) records. Each record is a Volume in the seven-inch project series & each Volume is by a different artist." Previous Seven Inch Project artists include Lullatone (Audio Dregs), Half-Handed Cloud (Asthmatic Kitty), and June Madrona (Bicycle Records)
Next, Luke has announced that he will be recording and releasing a ton of new material in 2008. According to Luke, "Working with a new band has been really inspiring for me. My plan is to write and record as much as possible in the New Year and having a stable group to collaborate with adds a whole new dimension to that process." http://www.myspace.com/luketemple
