(Cat8Dog) Greek terrorists have discovered a new terror target that threatens the very foundation of modern politics. They hit a toilet. The US embassy in Greece was hit by an anti-tank shell early Friday morning. No one was hurt but the shell did hit the front of the building before landing in the toilet. A left-wing terrorist group reportedly claimed responsibility. "This was a rocket attack launched from a building across the street. It landed inside a toilet on the third floor of the embassy," a senior police official said according to Reuters. That's one way to clear a septic tank.
Greek official suspect that it was the work of a group of domestic kooks. "It is very likely that this is the work of a domestic group," Public Order Minister Vyron Polydoras said. "We believe this effort to revive terrorism is deplorable and will not succeed."
Someone claiming to speak on the behalf of a militant far-left group, Revolutionary Struggle, apparently phoned a private security company to claim responsibility for the shelling. "There are one or two telephone calls, from unknown callers, who claimed that the Revolutionary Struggle assumes responsibility," Polydoras said. "We cannot rule out that they were genuine."
One fact leading towards this group is that they make piss-poor terrorists. They claimed responsibility for a 2006 bombing targeted at Culture Minister Giorgos Voulgarakis, of course they missed and no one was injured in that bombing either and we do not know if a toilet was involved in that attack.
