(PR) The latest in the MVD Under Review series will hit stores on April 24th and includes DVD docs about Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd and Mott The Hoople. Here is a little info on each release:

Leonard Cohen - Under Review 1935 -1977 is a 90-minute documentary film which reviews the poetry, music, performances, and career of one of contemporary Americas greatest artists. Features include musical performances of Leonard Cohen reviewed by our team of esteemed experts, obscure footage, rare interviews, and scarcely seen photographs of and with Leonard and review, comment, criticism and insight from; official Cohen biographer, Ira Nadel; Leonards regular guitarist and band leader, Ron Cornelius; producer on the New Skin For The Old Ceremony and New Positions albums, John Lissauer, Cohens backing vocalist, Ronee Blakley and many more.

Pink Floyd - Meddle: A Classic Album Under Review offers a hitherto un-obtained level of insight into the band during the build up, recording and aftermath of their most significant musical turning point. Via the use of performance footage, long forgotten photographs, contributions from friends and colleagues, review, criticism and insight from a panel of esteemed experts and lots, lots more this film delivers the long awaited critical review of a world class band at their creative peak. Features include live and studio performances from the Meddle era, reassessed by a panel of revered experts, obscure footage and unseen photographs.

Mott The Hoople - Under Review is a 90-minute documentary film charting the career and music of one of Rock musics most influential yet all too often neglected bands. Despite being championed by many of modern cultures coolest names - from David Bowie and Morrissey to the Clash and the Sex Pistols (not forgetting Barry Manilow covering an Ian Hunter tune!) - until now, this extraordinary group has rarely had the recognition it deserves. Features review, commentary, critique and insight from; Morgan Fisher - the man behind the unique keyboard sound that the band achieved; Mick Jones - Clash guitarist/co-songwriter, and many more.
