At least Deep Purple have top billing. Here is Nightwatcher with the report: The Israeli muppet-style group Red Band has been chosen as the opening act for the English rock legends Deep Purple when they perform in Tel Aviv next Tuesday (September 9). Red Band is a fictional rock band made entirely of muppet-like dolls currently starring in their own rockumentary style television show on Israeli cable. The band is made to appear as one of Israel's early rock pioneers of the 1970's, which abruptly disappeared and is reunited on the television show. - more on this story
