Metal Bands Ready To Thrash and Burn This Summer

05/15/2009
.
(PR) Barely a month removed from the release of their debut album, Depths, Chicago deathcore heavyweights Oceano will be participating in this year's installment of the Thrash and Burn tour. The lineup includes Devil Driver, Emmure, Despised Icon, My Children My Bride, Veil Of Maya, For The Fallen Dreams, Periphery and many more.

Featuring a mix of established talent alongside some of the finest young acts on the rise, this year's 2nd installment of the Thrash and Burn tour has something for everyone.

Oceano vocalist, Adam Warren shares the sentiment of the band in being honored to play alongside such a heavy, high quality lineup as this: "It's an honor to be on such a highly accomplished tour and to get the chance to share the stage with such amazing bands ive always been a fan of and respect. If you're in attendance prepare for an ass whooping!"

The Thrash and Burn tour marks Oceano's biggest North American trek to date and they can't wait to "bring the beef" to their rowdy fans, both old and new. Oceano guitarist, Andrew Mikhail had this to say about the band's participation in the Thrash and Burn tour: "i personally am very stoked for thrash and burn this year, we've shared the stage with some of these bands before and i can already tell it's going to be a great show and a good time for all. as for Oceano, we're actually planning to upgrade our live show and everything else along with it so we can "bring the beef" to a new spectrum *laughs*. all in all though, it will be a very exciting time for Oceano and everyone in attendance!"

The Thrash and Burn tour rages through North America this summer (dates coming soon). For up to the minute news, dates, information and much more, go to http://www.myspace.com/thrashandburntour
