He is in the hospital now. Japanese police are looking into the matter." An hour later they posted on Twitter, their official site and Facebook, "It is unfortunate to say, but Deryck Whibley is still in the hospital. He was attacked late last night in Japan. We are waiting for results and we are hoping for the best. Thanks for your support."

Antiquiet reports that U2 have debuted two brand new songs live during their concert in Turin, Italy where they have resumed their world tour after Bono was sidelined earlier this year. Pete Fire, the founding guitarist of Drunken Bastards, has been diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago. The treatments have started already and the doctors, family and his friends are confident that he's going to get better. more
