Dio Era Black Sabbath Album Going Deluxe

12/20/2010
.
(Gibson) Black Sabbath have announced yet another rerelease in the coming months, this time from an under-appreciated Dio gem. Dehumanizer was a reunion album of sorts for the band's Heaven and Hell line-up.

Recorded in 1991 and 1992, the album was the first collaboration of Ronnie James Dio and the Sabs in over a decade, and it featured the Wayne's World soundtrack nugget, "Time Machine," as well as the single, "TV Crimes."

The Deluxe Edition of Dehumanizer, to be released on February 7th, will feature one disc of the original album and one disc of B-sides, alternate versions and live tracks. The five live tracks are from a 1992 Tampa, Florida show, featuring a combination of Dehumanizer tracks and Heaven and Hell classics. more on this story
