Perpetual Groove Announce Amberland 8
. The camping-infused festival serves as part backyard barbecue and part interactive showcase that celebrates Perpetual Groove and the community that has grown around the Athens, Georgia based band. The three-day gathering that has been dubbed "a giant ice cream social" by attendees will include six separate sets by the band as well as a performance by P-Groove side project, Lazy B & the Recliners, and Brockfest, a solo set featuring charismatic frontman Brock Butler. Additional details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks. Following the 2010 release of their fourth studio album, Heal, Perpetual Groove's eight annual Amberland will once again be broken into three distinct nights, each with its own concept, in which fans are encouraged to participate. Festival goers arriving on Friday, May 28th will be treated to a first-time-ever live performance of Perpetual Groove, in its entirety. Subsequent nights include ABC � an "anything but clothes" theme, where fans are encouraged to fashion outfits out of unconventional materials and a "Jersey Shore" costume party, playing to the popular MTV reality series. Early bird tickets go on sale Friday, February 5th at 10 a.m. for a limited time only and begin at $65. Early bird tickets will be available in limited quantities, before general admission tickets are offered starting at $85. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $100. Day passes are available for Sunday only for $50. All tickets include camping and RV with the price of admission. Tickets are available online at www.pgroove.com.
