Music legend Charlie Daniels, whose hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" won him a Grammy in 1979, is recovering at home after suffering a mild stroke, his agent said on Tuesday. more

Jane's Addiction in the studio? Maybe, maybe not. stereokill.net reports According to frontman Perry Farrell, Jane's Addiction entered the studio on Monday to begin writing their fourth studio album. News of the session appeared on Farrell's official Facebook page, when a fan enquired about the possibility of new material. Farrell replied directly with the following: "We are, William. Monday we get together to write new music and craft a future." You may note that he never mentions anything about a studio, just writing music together. Read the Stereokill.net report here

EW.com are reporting that Radiohead's Thom Yorke's representatives have said he intends to perform at Coachella with the same backing band he assembled in Los Angeles last year. The collective, who features Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, REM collaborator Joey Waronker, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Mauro Refosco, and long-term producer Nigel Godrich, played just three shows back in October. more
