SF Winter Music Fest
. Opening night kicks off with nationally buzzy acts The Action Design, Rykarda Parasol, Dave Smallen and The Trophy Fire. The excitement continues all week with tons of SF favorites across the spectrum of rock, pop, folk and experimental, including Tempo No Tempo, Bird By Bird, Grand Lake, The Stone Foxes, Eric McFadden, Scene Of Action, Luke Franks Or The Federalists, Judgement Day, the soulful musings of kuma/koshka (featuring Blythe and Alexi of The Botticellis), and the alt-pop fun of Oakland's sweethearts The Hot Toddies, to name but a few. Thee Parkside will host an all-ages show on Saturday, January 30th at 1:00pm; with high-energy Next-Generation bands Finish Ticket, Emily's Army, Lou Lou and the Guitar Fish, DFR, and Fever Charm, the event will rock even the grumpiest of family members. Closing night of Winter Music Fest also serves as the rollicking Opening Night party for the 12th SF Independent Film Festival. Come dance the night away on Feb 4th at the DNA Lounge as IndieFest welcomes to the stage the amazing Kid Beyond, along with Smash Up Derby, and Gooferman.
