Caddywhompus Hit The Road and Offer Free Album Download
. Wanting to stay consistent with their D.I.Y. work ethic, Rehm and Hart completely self produced and engineered the entirety of 'Remainder' in New Orleans. Wanting their music to have a more immediate impact, and reach a further number of listeners, the duo is currently offering up the entirety of 'Remainder' as a free download on the Community Records band page. here Rehm and Hart have been playing music together since their middle school days and established Caddywhompus in September of 2008. In just two short years they've earned national recognition for their live performances, which include a daunting assortment of amplifiers, effects-pedal tweakery, impeccable musicianship, and a commanding live presence. Song structures alternate between sweet psychedelic indie ballads to the most intense, ear splitting of noise-driven crescendos. They've since toured and shared the stage with nationally touring acts like: Zach Hill, The Antlers, Japanther, Cursive, Wavves, GIVERS, Tera Melos, A Sunny Day in Glasgow, and Math The Band. The band's new video for the song "Guilt", which was produced and directed by Neko Neko Films, is released just in time for their summer jaunt. The quick two minute video reimagines a live performance of the band as a blissed out, mushroom-tripping joyride. A perfect introduction to a band set on waging war on America's highway system this summer.
