Tony Thaxton of Motion City Soundtrack has recruited a number of musicians, artists and actors to help fuse his love of music and toys with the launch of Analog Playset which is being introduced to the public with a special Custom Toy Show and Auction at Atticus Clothing Store in LA on September 18th with proceeds to support the Dear Jack Foundation.

Over 25 custom robot toys created by some of music's most popular bands and artists will go up for auction. The show/auction will also include a performance by Andrew McMahon of Jack's Manequin. There will be drinks provided and the Grill 'Em All food truck will be parked outside. This special event is a great way for fans to be introduced to Analog Playset as well as support their favorite artists at the auction and the Dear Jack Foundation.

Here is the list of participating artists and musicians, with more to be announced: Charlyne Yi (actress/musician) * Joe Ledbetter (artist) * Mike Gentile (Hey Monday) * Beth Raebel (artist) * Dan Goodsell (artist) * Tony Thaxton (Motion City Soundtrack/Analog Playset) * Jesse Johnson (Motion City Soundtrack) * James Dewees (Reggie and the Full Effect) * Sherri Dupree-Bemis (Eisley) * Max Bemis (Say Anything) * Alex Pardee (artist) * Brian Ewing (artist) * Kate Micucci (actress/Garfunkel and Oates) * Eddie Breckenridge (Thrice) * Dan Konopka (OK Go)

Tony Thaxton explains, "Welcome to Analog Playset. This is an idea I have wanted to do for quite a long time, and I am finally going for it. Music is obviously a big part of my life, and I have had a toy obsession (in many different forms) for about as long as I can remember. My goal with Analog Playset is to combine two of my biggest loves, music and toys. Through constant touring over the past 7 years, I have met so many amazing musicians and artists. And I have been to so many amazing toy stores and art galleries around the world. I am excited to attempt to bring all those things together and make beautiful babies. There are so many fun possibilities, and new ideas keep coming up every day. We should have some shirts for sale very soon, and some exciting news and announcements to follow soon after. Shirts are only the appetizer. Stay tuned for a lot of fun. I hope you are even half as excited as I am. "
