Dave Koz Record Release Event At The Grammy Museum
. After a career spanning nearly two decades, Dave Koz is excited to be with a new record label and will debut his first album Hello Tomorrow on Concord Records, Oct. 12th, 2010. Koz looks at this album as evidence of a crossroads in his career, and one that represents change and reinvention. "It's been a big change for me personally, and the more people I talk to, the more I realize that there are millions of people with a similar story," Koz says. "Circumstances have led them to take a step in a different direction or reinvent themselves in some way. Many of us are at the beginning of a new era, and I've found it's liberating to embrace change." Dave and Dana will appear in and perform the song on the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives, scheduled to air this fall. Dave Koz's lead single "Put The Top Down" quickly became the #1 Most Added two weeks in row at Smooth AC/Jazz radio and jumped to No. 8 on the Media Base Smooth AC chart after it was recently debuted on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In front of an intimate audience of 200 in the Museum's theater, Koz will talk with Grammy Foundation Vice President, Scott Goldman about the inspiration behind his new album, working with new producers and adding vocalist to his substantial list of credits.
