American Idol Focuses on Carole King This Week
. American Idol will feature the music of Carole King tonight and Thursday night, as the final six contestants compete by performing songs written by King. The show, which has experienced a rating uptick this season, averaging a dominating 25 million viewers per episode, will be devoted to King's remarkable career as a songwriter and performer. The episodes air at 8pm ET/ PT on Fox. Carole is currently in the studio working on her first-ever holiday album with her daughter Louise Goffin producing, to be released this fall.
