Mindy McCready Must Return Son Today or Face Jail

. There is good news and bad news in the world of Mindy McCready today. On one hand the country singer tells the NY Daily News that she is pregnant with twins, but on the other hand she is facing jail for disappearing with her 5-year-old son.

Mindy McCready confirmed to the NY Daily News that she is five-months pregnant with twins who were fathered by her music producer boyfriend David Wilson.

More immediately for the singer is she is facing jail time after allegedly taking her 5-year-old son from her father's home in Florida and disappearing. McCready's mother, Gayle Inge, currently has legal custody of her son and McCready has visitation rights, according to The News report.

She has been ordered to return the child by 5:00 PM local time today or face penalty for violating the court order. The NY Daily News spoke with her about this current drama and she told them, "The court system in Florida is tragically corrupt..... Maybe if I speak out and stand up for my child it will keep other parents from having to fight the same corruption to protect they're children". Read The News report for more details
