Over four birthday shows in a week, Sammy turned 64 with a celebration that included by a variety of guests like Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Kenny Chesney, Vinnie Paul (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah), Rage Against The Machine's Brad Wilk and Chickenfoot, playing a mix of Red Rocker songs, Van Halen material and covers. As for the New Year, Hagar and Chickenfoot head to Europe in January for a week of shows on their Road Test Tour, designed to break in Kenny Aronoff, who's handling drum duties while Chad Smith is on the road with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
