Ringo Video Game?

. (Gibson) Ringo Starr has initiated steps toward creating his own video game. As reported by UK.gamespot.com, the former Beatle has filed for trademark rights for the name "Ringo" to be applied to "computer game software" and "downloadable computer games via the Internet and wireless devices."

Starr has thus far declined to offer details, but it's speculated that an announcement regarding the venture will come at this year's SXSW Interactive gathering in Austin, Texas, in March.

The venture would mark the second instance in which the veteran drummer has been involved in the creation of interactive software. more on this story
