Timothy B. Schmit Won't Be Retiring Anytime Soon
. "The concept is absurd to me. I was shocked at the question. I felt like saying, 'Are you nuts? What are you talking about? What am I gonna do sit on the couch and eat Bon Bons and watch TV? I don't want to do that.' I want to go on as long as I can, and there's quite a bit of that left." Schmit recently released the solo album Expando. "What this album showed me is I started to scratch the surface of some really good s--- here," he said. "I felt like I was discovering some new stuff, and I actually was reaching a little deeper maybe to come up with the good stuff. I think Expando is really my best work so far, and I always thought that "Friday Night" was more of a single than any of the others." Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
