Noel Gallagher Feeling Apprehensive

(Gibson) Now that he has announced his first solo album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, the ex-Oasis man is feeling apprehensive, especially in the wake of the debut release of brother Liam's Beady Eye.

According to the Daily Express, Gallagher was shocked that Beady Eye did not perform better on the charts. He told NME magazine: "D' you know what? To be quite honest, it was a bit of a wake-up call. 'Cos I was like, right, well, [expletive] hell, maybe that's what's out there for me, d' you know what I mean? So when 'The Roller' went in at 30 or whatever...

"I mean, you know, a lot of people were like, '[expletive] hell, I bet you're happy with that!' And I was like, not really, because I was quite shocked. I thought it would do what Oasis singles do. So obviously, someone who puts my record out has got some [expletive] work to do! I was a bit like, 'Wow!'" more on this story
