I Am the Avalanche have released a brand new music video which pays homage to their hometown.

The music video for their new single "Brooklyn Dodgers," premiered yesterday exclusively on VEVO. You can check it out here

Directed by Michael "Yoshi" Jasionowski, the video for "Brooklyn Dodgers" takes fans back to where it all started, set against the music of one of this year's most memorable punk anthems. Shot over the course of two days, the video follows I Am the Avalanche as each band member takes to the streets of Brooklyn to visit old haunts while going about their daily routine. The stunning black & white video also features cameos from friends and family.

"Brooklyn Dodgers" is the first single from I Am the Avalanche's first album in over six years, Avalanche United, which is available now on I Surrender Records. Produced by the band, and executive produced and engineered by their prolific drummer Brett "The Ratt" Romnes and mixed by Machine (Fall Out Boy, Every Time I Die, Four Year Strong), Avalanche United embodies the resilient spirit of the band and their deep bonds with their families and friends as well as their love of their hometown of Brooklyn, which is clearly conveyed by their video for "Brooklyn Dodgers."

I Am the Avalanche are currently wrapping up their US tour with Bayside, Saves The Day and Transit with back-to-back dates at Irving Plaza this week (November 15 & 16), before heading over to the UK and Europe for their final dates of 2011.
