Taylor Swift Takes On Britney Spears
. This week, Swift took her Speak Now Tour to Louisiana, and that meant it was her chance to honor one of the state's most famous pop music exports, Britney Spears, with a cover of Brit's 'Lucky.' Swift performed at the CenturyTel Center and played 'Lucky' during her solo acoustic portion of the set. Her fans joined in as Taylor sang the chorus from the 2000 hit song by Spears, who grew up in Kentwood, La.: "She's so lucky, she's a star / But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart / Thinking, if there's nothing missing in my life / Then why do these tears come at night?"
