Doogie White and La Paz Release Don't Drink With The Devil
. Former Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen singer White formed La Paz in Scotland in 1984. A few years ago he reactivated the band with guitarist Chic McSherry, bassist Alex Carmichael, keyboardist Andy Mason and drummer Paul McManus. They released Granite, their first recordings since splitting in 1988, last year. "I never thought La Paz would never record another album," says White. "I knew we had at least another one in us. It's a natural thing we have. Chic's songs for this album have traditional La Paz influences, but we're older and more travelled, and his ideas outwit the great traditions.
