Singled Out: DRGN King
. A couple years ago, Joe (our drummer) and I lived in a neighborhood in North Philadelphia called Port Richmond. It's a largely Polish neighborhood with great tiny bars and a Lithuanian Dance Hall. We branched out from our other friends living closer to downtown, purposefully carving out a private place where we could record all night and drink cheaply. Around this time I also met Ritz (the producer/other half of Drgn King) and spent a good amount of time riding the 25 bus to his studio in the Pennsport area of South Philadelphia. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
