J. Cole Release TLC-Assisted Single And Announces $1 Tour
. The second single off Cole's forthcoming album Born Sinner comes nearly four months after the release of his current hit, "Power Trip" featuring Miguel, which peaked at No. 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. This time around, "Crooked Smile" sees the rapper spitting about self-love and inner beauty, specifically to women. "You wake up, put make up on/Stare in the mirror/But it's clear that you can't face what's wrong/No need to fix what God already put his paintbrush on." TLC's Chilli and T-Boz back up the Cole on the hook with their message female empowerment. "On my way, on my way, on my way down/On my way, on my way, on my way down/ You're the one that was trying to keep me way down/Like the sun now you know I'd find my way back 'round." Cole will be finding his way around North America on the Dollar And A Dream Tour, kicking off June 11 in Miami, but will test die-hard fans by saving show details until the day-of. Tickets will cost just $1.00, but will not be available until the day of the show, nor will venues be revealed in advance, according to Billboard. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
