Yoko Responds To Paul McCartney Clearing Her in Beatles Split

(Classic Rock) Yoko Ono is glad that Paul McCartney recently stated she hadn't been responsible for the Beatles' split in 1970. She explains: "The first thing I said was, 'Thank you, Paul!'

"It was very difficult for me to not have that support for those 40 years. But I also knew it would be very difficult for him to say something like that. There are many people who wish that we'd be always fighting.

"We understand each other after 40 years, to think that we don't know each other? We're on good terms, and I have a lot of respect for him." More rock news.
