Josh Groban To Guest On It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
. Groban's role on the show, which makes some of the most repulsive things funny, at first may seem strange but anyone who's watched the show knows the gang's lone lady, Dee, is a huge Groban fan. She even refers to herself as a "Grobanite." In one episode from the sixth season she gets backstage passes to a Groban show. In preparation, she immediately gets herself spray tanned and buys a pair of white shorts, explaining that "Josh Groban likes his ladies to pop." Unfortunately, she ends up getting poisoned by Frank (Danny DeVito) and misses her chance to meet Groban. None of which seems that weird for Always Sunny. Perhaps now though she'll finally get her chance to meet her idol. This is not Groban's first foray into comedy. Along with his very entertaining Twitter feed (sample tweet and perfect Daft Punk reference: "PJ's and HBOGO > Staying up all night to get lucky"), he appeared on The Office this past season and co-starred in 2011's Crazy, Stupid, Love. He also appeared in the 2012 indie Coffee Town, alongside Glenn Howerton (Dennis on It's Always Sunny) playing a smarmy musician/barista. No word yet on when that movie will be released in theaters. And let's not forget his two cameos on Glee, both of which had the singer playing a very vain version of himself. One of his highlights, however, has to be his appearances with Jimmy Kimmel. The best being his touching ode to Kanye's tweets. Watch it here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
