Avicii Reveals New Album Details
. The album will feature a diverse roster of featured artists, appearances from Aloe Blacc, Nile Rodgers, Mac Davis, Incubus' Michael Einsinger and more. "It's just been, for me, very interesting [as a] learning experience," Avicii told Radio.com a few months ago. "I've been working with instead of DJs, I've been working with musicians that come from completely different upbringings. Like, they've learned music differently and different ways of looking at music." The 23-year-old DJ, best known in the mainstream for his hit single "Levels," also spoke on his unlikely collaborators, some of which he performed with at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year. #TRUE artists Blacc, Swedish rocker Joakim Berg and singer Audra Mae took the stage alongside the DJ to the surprise of his audience. "Just in general, everyone [who collaborated on the album] has had an open mind to whatever we've been doing," Avicii said. "They haven't had a closed mind towards electronic music. A lot of people do. A lot of people are still very close-minded when it comes to house music or dance music in general." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
