Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, NIN, Pixies Lead Lollapalooza Lineups
. Organizes announced the lineup for both events on Monday. Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell had this to say about the events which will be taking place next spring: "Our perennial trip through South America has become one of the most anticipated times of the year for my family and our extended family (of musicians)," he said. "I have also been inviting every delightful new acquaintance to join us. They will find it to be an epic journey as well." Lollapalooza Chile takes place March 29th & 30th at the O'Higgins Park in Santiago and will feature over sixty artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, New Order, Imagine Dragons, Axwell, The Bloody Beetroots, Wolfgang Gartner, Flux Pavilion, Flume and more. Local Chilean artists include Francisca Valenzuela, Joe Vasconcellos, Ana Tijoux, Nicole, Lucybell and Upa!
