(Radio.com) Willie Nelson has cancelled a handful of upcoming tour dates following a crash involving the bus that his backing band travels in. His official website posted "Willie Nelson's band bus (not Willie's bus) was in an accident overnight on icy I-30. 3 members of the family were hospitalized. Additional information will be released as we get it." I-30 is in Texas, Nelson's home state.

According to his website, his next four tour dates have been postponed, however his dates for December are still on the schedule. CNN reported that the bus spun out of control in a storm, and crashed into a Texas bridge pillar before dawn this morning.

CNN is reporting that drummer Paul English (the subject of Willie's song "Me And Paul") suffered a broken hip, and his brother (fellow drummer) Billy English and another band member, Thomas Ray Hawkins, received minor injuries.

A new message posted on Willie Nelson's website updates the news about the accident involving his band's bus. The message now details which bandmembers were hurt and fortunately notes that "no one suffered serious injuries." Read it here.
