Y&T Releasing 4-Disc Set With Rarities and B-Sides
. Dave Meniketti's veteran outfit joined A&M soon after changing their name from the longer title Yesterday And Today. Their releases via the label included 1981 defining moment Earthshaker along with Black Tiger and Out For The Count, neither of which have been legally available in Europe for some time. Live tracks from the Reading Festival and Monsters Of Rock in 1984 are also included, in a collection which the label describes as "definitive." They add: "If you want to hear Y&T in their prime, if you want to get a taste of why they were regarded as one of the world's greatest hard rock bands, the music on these four CDs is all you need. It represents the glory age of a glorious band." Check out the track details here. Classic Rock Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
