(Radio.com) At the taping of this year's BET Hip Hop Awards, Kendrick Lamar decided to unleash a little fury on his old buddy Drake. According to AllHipHop, Lamar flipped the title of Drizzy's latest album, Nothing Was The Same, to talk about his own recent headline making "Control" verse, which has the young rapper calling out nearly everyone else in the game, including Drake.

The jab-part of the BET cypher, which will air during the awards show on October 15, also calls out Drake's emotionally driven lyrics with Kendrick joking he's going to tuck him into bed.

"Yeah, and nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control'/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes," Lamar raps. "Ha-ha jokes on you, high-five, I'm bulletproof/ Your s***'ll never penetrate/ Pin the tail on the donkey/ Boy you been a fake."

In a recent interview with Radio.com, Kendrick, who recruited Drake for his song "Poetic Justice" off Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, said "god willing" he would be on Drizzy's album. So what happened in the last month to turn him against the Canadian rapper?

Find out one possibility and watch a snippet of the cypher (via AllHipHop) here.
