(TeamRock Radio) Machine Head have confirmed their next album will be released via Nuclear Blast Entertainment, after they signed a deal with the label. And mainman Robb Flynn had no qualms about following former Roadrunner A&R man Monte Conner to his new home.

"Monte has believed in Machine Head for 20 years his belief has never wavered," Flynn states. "We are extremely proud to work alongside him once again."

The band will start recording work later this month, with their eighth album slated for release early next year. Demo track titles include Killers And Kings, Beneath The Silt, Sail Into The Black and Night Of The Long Knives.

Machine Head hired new bassist Jared MacEachern earlier this year after dismissing Adam Duce. Flynn admitted he'd been reduced to tears after deciding Duce had to go after 21 years. more on this story
