Singled Out: Joe Moorhead's Bad Day
. "Bad Day", was based off of a time I was hanging around in the US and British Virgin Islands. Once a year everyone from the islands head to "Carnival". This is a big celebration that all residents and tourists attend. I had missed the last boat and was stuck on St. John Island with very little money, stormy weather, and not a friend around. If I was in any other place in the world it would have been horrible. St. John is so beautiful that I wrote the song as an oxymoron. The worst day in the islands is still better then any day anywhere else for me (even with no money, nobody, and no sunshine). Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the video here plus learn more about the album and get a free song download right here!
